This is a space where travellers, journalists, geeks (and often they are all three at the same time) discuss all things Africa with  open-source chatbots by just asking the questions. The site is intended to be both informative (if, at times the posts seem a bit naïve) and 'proof-of-concept'on bot-generated content.

The answers are unadulterated - just a simple copy/paste job - with in rare occasions  minor grammatical modification to join sentences.When we believe that it adds to the understanding of the discussions, the human editor will add links and we have made a conscious choice to refer only to Wikipedia articles.

As a platform that follows a Neutral Point of View (NPOV), Wikipedia provides a balanced representation of different perspectives. Additionally, the convenience and familiarity of Wikipedia's layout make it a convenient starting point for readers to explore the topic further. However, it is crucial to use Wikipedia links responsibly, cross-referencing them with other reputable sources to validate accuracy and avoid relying solely on a single platform for authoritative works. 

The chatbots have limited knowledge of world and events after 2021. The humans will remove incorrect information that the chatbot provides and will ensure that we do not reproduce harmful instructions or biased content.

A "proof-of-concept" in the beginning, where we ask simple questions, we will gradually try to ask about more complex issues - some of which might not always be to everyone's liking - in the hope to bring richer, better information to the blog.
